I am a graduate of Liberty University’s Nursing program and completed a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy before beginning my nursing career. I moved to Colorado to pursue my career and was attracted to Colorado due to my love of the outdoors.
My wife Colleen and I chose to make Keenesburg our home and to start our family due to the small-town feel, low crime rate, and wonderful community events.
I have been the Mayor of Keenesburg since 2022 and I have been very proud of what I have accomplished during my time in office.
I helped to streamline town operations for greater efficiency. I championed local commerce by enabling the opening of a farmer’s market, fostering economic growth and community engagement. I helped to repeal the restrictive ban on selling eggs from backyard chickens and increased the number of chickens a resident may own from four to 10, promoting individual freedom and supporting local agriculture. I suggested and the Board approved removing the prohibition of residents from possessing and setting off fireworks in town during the week of July 4th and allowing residents to drive their off-road vehicles on town streets, so long as they follow other traffic laws. Everything I have accomplished is in the name of individual liberty and promoting the small town feel that we all love.
